Fox Searchlight Pictures has released a new international poster and promo video for Chan-wook Park's twisted and dramatic thriller Stoker. This is Park's first English-language film, and it looks great. He also managed to bring together a hell of a great cast that includes Nicole Kidman, Mia Wasikowska, Matthew Goode, Dermot Mulroney, Jacki Weaver, Alden Ehrenreich and Lucas Till.
The promo kind of plays out like a haunting music video showing off new clips from the film, along with some artwork being made that ties in with the film.
Here's the Synopsis:
After India's (Wasikowska's) father dies in an auto accident, her Uncle Charlie (Goode), who she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her emotionally unstable mother (Kidman). Soon after his arrival, she comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives, but instead of feeling outrage or horror, this friendless girl becomes increasingly infatuated with him.
