For a movie that rolls out next month (November 23rd), the publicity machine has been slow for Fox Searchlight's Hitchcock, with only a few set photos surfacing and an official poster having been released so far. In the latest issue of People however, we finally get some good looks at Jessica Biel, Helen Mirren and James D'Arcy. We also get a better look at Scarlett Johansson as a solid ringer for Janet Leigh, and Anthony Hopkins pulling off the signature Alfred Hitchcock silhouette profile with ease -- with the help of some dang good prosthetics that is.
Hitchcock was directed by Sacha Gervasi (Anvil! The Story of Anvil), and is based on the book Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho by Stephen Rebello. It takes place during the making of Hitchcock’s seminal movie Psycho, and is a love story about one of the most influential filmmakers of the last century, Alfred Hitchcock and his wife and partner Alma Reville.
I'm still itching for the trailer. Hopefuly that hits soon! Check out the spread, which has some great side by side comparisons, and let us know if you like what you've seen so far.
