DR. HORRIBLE 2 to Shoot Next Year!

This coming Tuesday October 9th Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog will make its TV debut on The CW. I know it's been around since 2008, it's on Instant Netflix and most of you have already seen it, but having it on Network TV will introduce a whole new audience to the awesomeness. 

I love this web-series, and like all of the other fans I've been eagarly anticipating the sequel! One of the web-series creators, Maurissa Tancharoen Whedon, gives an update on the status of the long awaited sequel revealing that they want to start shooting next year!

The goal is that we are going to be shooting next year, and getting the script and everything done at the end of this year. So that is something that we’re actually physically working on now.

So even though Joss Whedon is developing The Avengers 2, along with developing a S.H.I.E.L.D. TV series with Maurissa, they are still going to make the time to get Dr. Horrible 2 made! I guess if Whedon could take a break while shooting The Avengers to make a feature length adaptation of Much Ado About Nothing he can find the time to make Dr. Horrible 2.

I'm looking forward to seeing how they continue the story. What would you like to see happen in the sequel? Personally, I hope they find a way to bring Penny back.
