Fantasy Film BEAUTIFUL CREATURES Has a New Trailer

I'm sure Warner Bros. is hoping this Beautiful Creatures movie turns out to be as big a hit as Twilight was. If it's any indication that I have no interest in the movie, like I have no interest in Twilight, maybe it will be a big hit. A new trailer has been released, it's longer than the first one and gives us a look at some new footage. 

The movie is based on the first of a five-novel series written by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl. It's a coming-of-age supernatural story set in the South about two star-crossed teens. A local boy named Ethan, and a mysterious new girl named Lena. Together they uncover some dark secrets about their families, their history and the town in which they live.

Here's the Synopsis:

A supernatural love story set in the South, “Beautiful Creatures” tells the tale of two star-crossed lovers: Ethan (Alden Ehrenreich), a young man longing to escape his small town, and Lena (Alice Englert), a mysterious new girl. Together, they uncover dark secrets about their respective families, their history and their town. Oscar(R) nominee Richard LaGravenese (“The Fisher King,””P.S. I Love You”) directs from his adaptation of the first novel in the best-selling series by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl. The film stars Alden Ehrenreich (“Tetro”), newcomer Alice Englert, Academy Award(R) winner Jeremy Irons (“Reversal of Fortune”) Oscar(R) nominee Viola Davis (“The Help,” “Doubt”), Emmy Rossum (TV’s “Shameless”) and Academy Award(R) winner Emma Thompson (“Howard’s End,” “Sense and Sensibility”).

The movie was written and directed by Richard LaGravenese, and stars Alden Ehrenreich, Alice Englert, Jeremy Irons, Viola Davis, Emmy Rossum, and Emma Thompson. It's set to be released on February 13th, 2013.
