Bryan Singer to Develop New TWILIGHT ZONE TV Series!

The Twilight Zone is about to make a very big come back! X-Men director Bryan Singer has officially signed on to develop, executive produce and possibly direct a reboot of Rod Serling’s classic series! Everything is in the very early stages of development, but CBS TV Studios is out looking for a writer for the project.

Matt Reeves was attached to a film project for a while at Warner Bros., but ended up leaving to direct Dawn of the Planet of the Apes instead. The script for the film was written by Jason Rothenberg. There's no new information on what's going on with that film project, but I'm excited for a new series. I think Singer is a great choice to bring The Twilight Zone back as a series.

The Twilight Zone is one of my favorite TV series of all time. It influenced almost everything we see in genre movies today. They set the standard, and I really hope this new series that Singer is developing properly pays tribute to what Rod Serling created. There's a lot of potential, and I image it will be way better than the crappy 1980s reboot of the series.
