Family Guy's Seth MacFalane to Direct and Star in Western Comedy

Family Guy creator Seth MacFalane has set up his net feature film directing gig. It's a live-action western comedy called A Million Ways to Die in the West. Everyone seemed to love his first feature film comedy Ted, and this seems like another great project for him to take on, which he also plans on starring in.

The movie was written by Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild and the plot has been described as a "Blazing Saddles-style movie -- meaning a Western with contemporary humor, with one undercurrent being just how dangerous and painful life really was in the late 1800s." They're not many more details other than that right now, but I can see the potential on how this would make for a funny comedy.

MacFarlane is still working on Family Guy, a sequel to Ted, and is set to host the Oscars next year, which should be great!
