Gary Oldman To Play Villain in MOTOR CITY

Gary Oldman is currently in negotiations to join a revenge thriller called Motor City set to be directed by Albert Hughes. The film is being produced by Dark Castle Entertainment and the story is "about a small time hood who is framed and sent to prison, only to exact revenge years later to get back the woman he loves."

Oldman has been nominated for a Best Actor Oscar for his role in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, which he was incredible in. Oldman will play the villain in the film who is a kingpin-type character "pulling the strings and who has his hooks into the woman." He joins the previously cast Dominic Cooper (The Devil’s Double) and Amber Heard (Drive Angry).

I just hope this isn't one of those movie roles that Oldman regrets taking on. As awesome of an actor that he is, he still manages to get cast in some pretty bad movies.
