Jim Caviezel Joins Stallone and Schwarzenegger in THE TOMB

Jim Caviezel has joined Sly Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger in The Tomb, which is set to be directed by Mikael Håfström (1408, The Rite). According to producer Mark Canton, Caviezel will play the prison warden in the film. Caviezel is an incredible actor who doesn't get enough good movie roles these days. At one point he was a rising star. I find it interesting that after he did Mel Gibson's Passion of the Christ, his career moved to TV such as The Prisoner and Person of Interest. It's awesome to see that he's landed a new movie role, though.

The Tomb sounds like it will be a pretty cool film, and it tells the story of a man (Stallone) who has designed a high-tech prison that is said to be escape-proof, who has to escape it himself. I'm looking forward to this, especially since it has a pretty awesome cast so far.

Here's a describtion of the story:

Ray Breslin (Stallone) who is the world’s foremost authority on structural security. He’s analyzed every high security prison and has gained a vast array of survival skills. But all Ray’s ingenuity and knowledge are about to be put to work in the most challenging test he’s ever faced: escaping from the master prison of his own design.

Schwarzenegger, in the role of Church, plays a complex inmate with multiple shades of grey. He’s the guy who fights to keep the prisoners from losing their humanity in their darkest hour as they struggle together to stay alive.

If had to escape from prison, would you have what it takes to actually do it?
