Here is the trailer for The Aggression Scale, thanks to Heat Vision. Steven C. Miller directed this genre film, which will have a world premiere at SXSW as part of the Midnighters program. The pic is described as a being "in the spirit of the 1980s canon and in the vein of A History of Violence but with the teens as the heroes, taking on four hitmen over $500,000 in stolen cash."

The cast includes Fabianne Therese (John Dies at the End), Ryan Hartwig (The Thompsons), Dana Ashbrook (Twin Peaks), Derek Mears (Friday the 13th), Jacob Reynolds (Gummo), Joseph McKelheer (The Hamiltons), and Ray Wise (Twin Peaks).

Miller directed this film based on a script by Ben Powell. I loved A History of Violence and like the fact that this has two people from Twin Peaks. The song used in the trailer makes sets the tone for a cool looking film. Watch the trailer below, and share your thoughts.
