Movie Trailer for the Quirky Romantic Comedy RUBY SPARKS

Fox Searchlight Picture has released the first trailer for their fun looking romantic comedy Ruby Sparks. The movie comes from the directors of Little Miss Sunshine and stars Paul Dano, Zoe Kazan, Antonio Banderas, Annette Bening, Elliott Gould, and Steve Coogan.

Ruby Sparks tells the interesting, quirky, strange story of a young writer who starts to fall in love with a woman that he's created for a story he's writing. One day the woman he created in his mind and on paper becomes a reality. 

The movie's got a great cast, and from what I see in the trailer it looks like it will be a solidly fun movie to watch.

Here's the Synopsis:

Calvin (Paul Dano) is a young novelist who achieved phenomenal success early in his career but is now struggling with his writing - as well as his romantic life. Finally, he makes a breakthrough and creates a character named Ruby who inspires him. When Calvin finds Ruby (Zoe Kazan), in the flesh, sitting on his couch about a week later, he is completely flabbergasted that his words have turned into a living, breathing person.
