Aziz Ansari Set For Seth Rogen's THE APOCALYPSE
Aziz Ansari is set for The Apocalypse. The Parks and Recreation actor shared the news during an interview with Grantland.com. The long-awaited comedy will be the directorial debut of Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, who also wrote the script. James Franco, Jay Baruchel, Jonah Hill, Craig Robinson, and Danny McBride are also attached to star in the film as themselves. The story takes place at a party at Franco's house, when the apocalypse begins. Filming is slated to start soon in New Orleans.
The film is based on the fake trailer Jay and Seth vs. The Apocalypse, which featured "Baruchel and Rogen living together after the biblical end of days has occurred." Ever since I saw the trailer I have been interested in seeing this I've been excited about this project ever since I first saw the trailer.
