Ray Liotta Gets Roughed Up in the First Clip from KILLING THEM SOFTLY

The first film clip has been released for Andrew Dominik's new film Killing Them Softly, which was previously titled Coogan's Trade. The clip is the first footage we've ever seen of the film, and it features Ray Liotta's character getting roughed up in his home by a couple of thugs.

The story follows a mob enforcer, played by Brad Pitt, trying to track down the thieves who ripped off a high stakes card game. The film also stars Scoot McNairy (Monsters) and Ben Mendelsohn (Animal Kingdom) as two junkies. Liotta plays the hustler running the poker game, Richard Jenkins plays a lawyer with inside information, James Gandolfini is a washed up alcholic hit man, and Vincent Curatola plays a middle-aged prison releasee seeking revenge.

I'm a big fan of Dominik's previous films that include Chopper and The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, and I'm looking forward to his latest creation. This is a solid clip showing Dominik's storytelling style, as you'll see, he pans past all of the action outside of the house of where it's taking place.
