SIN CITY 2 and MACHETE KILLS Teaser Posters
Are you prepared to bathe yourself in the ultra-violence that director Robert Rodriguez is planning for us with his upcoming sequels Sin City: A Dame to Kill For and Machete Kills. The films are supposed to shoot this spring and summer, and thanks to The Playlist, we have our first look at the teaser posters for each of the movies.
The plot for the Sin City 2 comes from the stories A Dame To Kill For, Just Another Saturday Night, and a new one Frank Miller wrote called The Long, Bad Night, which apparently centers on Jessica Alba's character Nancy Callahan who will be the connection between the two films. I guess we can also expect the return of Mickey Rourke, Rosario Dawson, Devon Aoki, Michael Clarke Duncan, and Clive Owen.
Machete Kills features our hero Machete being "recruited by the U.S. Government for a mission which would be impossible for any mortal man. Machete must battle his way through Mexico to take down a madman cartel leader and an eccentric billionaire arms dealer who has hatched a plan to spread war across the planet with a weapon in space. Machete takes on an army in an effort to dismantle a plan for global anarchy." Danny Trejo is set to reprise his role alongside Alba and Michelle Rodriguez. New cast members include Demián Bichir, Amber Heard, Sofia Vergara, and Mel Gibson.
