News Attack: Spider-Man Seen with AVENGERS Comics and More

There are loads of cool tidbits in todays News Attack. We've got Jackie Chan lining up an American action-adventure movie for his next project, Stellan Skarsgard confirming he'll return for Thor 2, another Dark Knight Rises viral letter, and a photo of Andrew Garfield with a stack of Avengers comic books in his hand?!

The news from The Hollywood Reporter that Jackie Chan is prepping his next project, an English-language action comedy, does not surprise me in the least. Jay Longino is writing the script, based on an original idea of Chan’s. The story is "a two-hander action comedy featuring a detective (Chan) who must track down an American gambler that has skipped out on his debt owed to a Macau casino syndicate." It will take place in Hong Kong, Macau, Eastern Europe and mainland China. This is nothing new in my opinion. Come on Jackie, time to go Black Swan on us and do a low-budget thriller.

Hey U Guys had the chance to interview Stellan Skarsgard for his new film, King Of Devil's Island. When asked about Thor 2, the actor had this to say:

I will try to combine Thor 2 which starts in August and goes to the end of December with the new Lars Von Trier film.

Alan Taylor (Game of Thrones) is set to direct the sequel, which will be released on November 15, 2013. Skarsgard will reprise his role of Dr. Erik Selvig, and will star opposite Chris Hemsworth with Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Anthony Hopkins as Odin, and Natalie Portman as Jane Foster.

Watch Skarsgard's interview here:

Are you looking forward to seeing Thor 2? What changes do you look forward to seeing made by Taylor?

We recently shared a viral letter from Lucius Fox to Bruce Wayne found within the Applied Sciences devision of DEWGothamCity.com. We now have Bruce's response, thanks to SuperHeroHype

Lucius,

Tell the board that as of today the program is shut down. As we discussed before, there is too much at stake and the risk is too great. That is my only concern.

-Bruce.

Stay turned for more viral letters as time goes by!

The rumor mill has gone into hight gear with this latest photo of Andrew Garfield. Will Spidey be featured in The Avengers 2? Garfield was seen walking the streets with a bundle of Avengers comic books by The Daily Mail

I am looking forward to seeing The Amazing Spider-Man in theaters next week, and would love to see Spidey swinging through the streets fighting side-by-side with the Avengers. What about you?
