Drew Goddard Writes New Ending for WORLD WAR Z

Movie World War Z by Joey Paur

A month ago Damon Lindelof was hired to re-write the third act for Brad Pitt's World War Z, but it looks like he wasn't able to write it. He ended up coming up with the concept for the ending then brought on Drew Goddard (LOST, Robopocalypse) to actually write the script because Lindelof apparently didn't have the time.

Deadline reports that both Lindelof and Goddard are so busy with other project that the studio might actually bring on another writer to clean up what Goddard and Lindelof came up with. That writer will most likely end up being Christopher McQuarrie who wrote and directed Jack Reacher for the studio. How many freakin' writers do you need for this thing! I've noticed that the more writers that are brought on to a film project the worse the movie ends up being.

World War Z has had a ton of production issues, and I hope that the studio can actually pull off a solid movie. They are doing everything they can to save it, so it will be interesting to see if they pull it off.
