NEED FOR SPEED Release Date Announced
DreamWorks Studios has announced an official release date for their feature film version of Need for Speed. Comingsoon reports that the high-octane video game will roar onto screens on February 7, 2014.
Scott Waugh is set to direct the adaptation of EA's popular video game. The project is planned as a "fast-paced, high-octane film rooted in the tradition of the great car culture films of the 70s while being extremely faithful to the spirit of the video game franchise."
Need for Speed will face off against Cloudy 2: Revenge of the Leftovers. I am not sure why there is a film being made, and am not too excited. Video game movies have either been bad or only mildly entertaining.
