Poster and Release Date for HITCHCOCK with Anthony Hopkins

Fox Searchlight Pictures has released the first poster for Hitchcock featuring Anthony Hopkins as the legendary director. They also announced that the movie will be released in limited theaters on November 23rd.

The movie is based on the book Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho by Stephen Rebello. It takes place during the making of Hitchcock’s seminal movie Psycho, and is a love story about one of the most influential filmmakers of the last century, Alfred Hitchcock and his wife and partner Alma Reville.

The movie comes from director Sacha Gervasi (Anvil! The Story of Anvil) and also stars Helen Mirren as Hitchcock's wife, Jessica Biel as Vera Miles, Ralph Macchio as Joe Stefano, James D'Arcy as Anthony Perkins, and Scarlett Johansson plays Janet Leigh, the actress who filmed one of the most famous scenes in movie history: the shower murder scene.

Hopkins looks awesome as Hitchcock, and I'm looking forward to seeing a trailer for this film.
