New Extended Trailer for THE MASTER with Footage Not in the Film

One more final trailer has been released for Paul Thomas Anderson's new film, The Master, which stars Joaquin Phoenix, Philip Symour Hoffman, and Amy Adams. The movie is currently in theaters, and if you're a fan of Anderson's films, you should definitely check it out. It's an extremely odd movie. It's not my favorite film from the director, but the performances in it are absolutely incredible! I can easily see Hoffman, Phoenix, and Adams all getting Oscar nominations. It's definitely a unique movie going experience.

The new trailer is NSFW and it contains a great deal of footage that wasn't included in the final cut of the film. If you've seen the movie, what did you think about it? Enjoy the last trailer!

The story is set in America in the years following World War II. A charismatic man returns home to America from World War II and forms a faith-based organization. He is now known as "the Master" and his belief system is catching on. As the group is gaining momentum and adding new converts, a young drifter arrives and becomes the Master’'s invaluable aid.

Synopsis:

Written and directed by Academy Award nominee Paul Thomas Anderson (the acclaimed director of, There Will Be Blood, Magnolia and Boogie Nights), this story stars Academy Award winner Philip Seymour Hoffman (Capote) and Academy Award-nominee Joaquin Phoenix (Walk the Line). Set in America in the years following World War II, a charismatic intellectual (Hoffman) launches a faith-based organization and taps a young drifter (Phoenix) as his right-hand man. But as the faith begins to gain a fervent following, the one time vagabond finds himself questioning the belief system he has embraced, and his mentor. A truly one-of-a-kind drama, which promises magnetic virtuoso performances, the film marks the fifth collaboration between Anderson and Hoffman, following Hard Eight, Boogie Nights, Magnolia, and Punch Drunk Love.
