SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK - Great Theatrical Trailer

What do you get when you take two of Hollywood's hottest stars and throw them into the ring with acting legend Robert De Niro? That'd be The Fighter director David O. Russell's upcoming film Silver Linings Playbook. But to be fair, you could just throw up some still pictures of Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper and you're bound to equally satisfy both males and females. Ask any tabloid magazine, they're well aware of their magical powers of... well, attractiveness.

Hey, look over there! *dumps synopsis on your lap* Yeah, that's yours to read now:

Pat Solatano (Cooper) has lost everything -- his house, his job, and his wife. He now finds himself living back with his mother and father after spending eight months is a state institution on a plea bargain. Pat is determined to rebuild his life, remain positive and reunite with his wife, despite the challenging circumstances of their separation. All Pat's parents want is for him to get back on his feet - and to share their family's obsession with the Philadelphia Eagles football team. When Pat meets Tiffany (Lawrence), a mysterious girl with problems of her own, things get complicated. Tiffany offers to help Pat reconnect with his wife, but only if he'll do something very important for her in return. As their deal plays out, an unexpected bond begins to form between them, and silver linings appear in both of their lives.

Sounds kinda "meh" actually on paper huh? Forget that though, this looks like a great movie! There may be a slightly creepy 15-year age difference in real life, but Cooper and Lawrence have really nailed this "romantic friendship" they've got going on here. With all of the explosions, hungry hungry hippo games and Excedrin popping hangovers the public has become accustomed to seeing them in, it's awesome to see these actors, ya know... act. Even Chris Tucker looks tolerable in this, and that says A LOT! Well played David O. Russell. Get into as many fights with your actors as you want, just keep putting out great films!

Are you liking what you've seen so far from this movie?
