New Elf Poster for THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG

This is the latest poster for Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. The poster focuses on the elf characters in the film, including Legolas (Orlando Bloom), Tauriel (Evangeline Lilly), and Thranduil (Lee Pace). Here are some interesting observations about the poster that were pointed out by The One Ring,

This is a very elf/Mirkwood oriented poster. The figure holding the tall spear at the bottom appears to be a Mirkwood elf such as those we saw fighting on the watchtower in trailer #2, and Azog seems to be at the tail-end of the line of silhouetted orcs and goblins at the very bottom. But is that Bolg at the front? It is a tall figure, and the weapon shape seems right, and so does the armour including the greaves protecting the shins. So, maybe we will see Bolg after all in DOS? With his absence from the Lego sets, and the absence of Conan Stevens from the press release cast credits, the evidence is all a bit conflicting.
The movie is set to be released on December 13th, and here's the synopsis:

The film continues the adventure of the title character Bilbo Baggins as he journeys with the Wizard Gandalf and thirteen Dwarves, led by Thorin Oakenshield, on an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor. Having survived the beginning of their unexpected journey, the Company continues East, encountering along the way the skin-changer Beorn and a swarm of giant Spiders in the treacherous Mirkwood Forest.
