Guillermo del Toro's Epic Opening for THE SIMPSONS Treehouse of Horror XXIV!

Guillermo del Toro creates the Couch Gag for this years Treehouse of Horror episode.

As you all know by now, director Guillermo del Toro had a hand in developing this year's Simpsons Halloween special, and Fox has released his epic opening sequence for The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror XXIV! This is easily one of the best opening sequences they've had! Del Toro throws everything horror oriented into this opening and manages to include stuff from all of the films he's made and wants to make,

In the first of three spine-tingling tales in the annual "Treehouse of Horror" episode, Homer travels around Springfield wreaking havoc in a rhyming take on a popular children's tale. In "Dead and Shoulders," Bart is beheaded during a kite accident, his head is attached to Lisa's body and they must live together as one. The final frightening tale, "Freaks no Geeks," features Mr. Burns' traveling circus, The Burnsum and Bailey Circus, which has stopped in Springfieldland in the 1930s. Trapeze artist Marge and Strong Man Homer are performers, and things go awry when circus freak Moe starts to make advances towards Marge.

I haven't been this excited for a Simpsons Halloween special in a long time. I can't wait to see it! The special airs on Sunday, October 6th at 8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT on Fox.
