Sony has released a fantastically cool new live-action trailer for God of War: Ascension, which will give us the original story of Kratos. The trailer is beautifully shot, and Kratos is pissed. It gives us a little tease of what we can expect to see happen in the game which comes to PlayStation 3 on March 12th, 2013.

God of War: Ascension returns players to the storyline of the epic God of War franchise. Join Kratos as he seeks freedom, redemption and the clarity to avenge his family. Or seek your own glory in epic 8-player mutliplayer battles.

Check out the trailer and let us know if it gets you excited about the game! It definitely gets me excited about the prospects of a movie!
