NINJA TURTLES Movie Has A New Release Date

Due to the delay on getting the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles into production, Paramount Pictures has changed the release date from May 16th, 2014 to June 6th, 2014. It's not a big push, but it opens up a week before Jurassic Park 4.

Producer Michael Bay announced last week that Megan Fox was set to star as April O'Neil in the Jonathan Liebesman directed adaptation.

The current draft of the script is being written by Evan Daugherty, who recently worked on Snow White and the Huntsman. The film was in pre-production last June, but was put on hold reportedly because of a terrible script, and the director wanted more time to make sure that the visual effects were going to be amazing. It's also been previously revealed that they want to use the same martial arts fighting style that we saw in The Raid.
