Kurtzman and Orci Developing New Sci-Fi Film SAGITTARIUS

Universal Pictures has just picked up an original pitch for a sci-fi thriller from writer/producers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (Star Trek, Transformers). The movie is called Sagittarius, and they have hired Steven Karczynski to write the script. He hasn't really done anything that you'd know. He previously wrote a Black List screenplay called The Umbra with is set to be directed by Martin Campbell (Green Lantern). He also wrote the script for the big screen adaptation of the video game Dark Void for Reliance and Plan B Entertainment.

Unfortunately there's no information on the project in regards to the story. I wish I had something else to tell you about this project, but that's all we have to go off of right now. Stay tuned for more info as it becomes available.
