Mad Men's Jared Harris Joins Paul W.S. Anderson's POMPEII

Jared Harris (Mad Men, Sherlock Holmes 2) has joined the cast of Paul W.S. Anderson's 3D action-adventure film Pompeii. He joins the previously cast Kit Harington (Game of Thrones) and Emily Browning (Sucker Punch).

The story is set in 79 A.D. and follows Milo (Harington), a slave turned invincible gladiator who finds himself in a race against time to save his true love Flavia (Browning), the daughter of a wealthy merchant (Harris) who has been unwillingly betrothed to a corrupt Roman general.

I always thought the story of Pompeii would make a good film, I'm just not really all that excited that it's being directed by Anderson. He's putting together a pretty solid cast though, so that's good.
