Sam Raimi to Direct His First TV Pilot for RAKE

Sam Raimi is riding high off of his big screen fantasy adventure film Oz The Great and Powerful, it's been doing very well at the box office. The director has now found his next project, it's a new TV pilot that he will direct and executive produce called Rake, which stars Greg Kinnear. This is the first time that Raimi has taken on a TV pilot.

The series is based on the Australian comedic drama, and it follows the "chaotic and comedic life of criminal defense lawyer Keegan Joye (Kinnear), brilliant, frustratingly charming, and with zero filter."

The pilot is set to to go into production in a few days, and I'm looking forward to seeing how Raimi's directing style translates to the small screen.
