Billy Crudup, Anton Yelchin, and Laurence Fishburne Join RUDDERLESS

Shameless star William H. Macy is prepping up to direct his first feature film and he's cast Billy Crudup, Anton Yelchin, Selena Gomez,and Laurence Fishburne to star alongside himself and Felicity Huffman.

According to THR the movie is "about the power of a parent’s love, [and] follows a grieving father in a downward spiral who stumbles across a box of his deceased son's original music. He forms a band, hoping to find peace in the wake of his loss."

This is an original story that Macy came up with and wrote with Casey Twenter and Jeff Robison. It sounds like a heavy drama that also has the potential to be a feel-good movie. Luckily they were also able to pull together a great cast of actors to pull it off.
