Josh Brolin as Batman in BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN? Umm... Yes Please!

It was recently reported that Warner Bros. and director Zack Snyder were going to include a 40ish-year-old version of Batman in their Man of Steel sequel, Batman Vs. Superman. A lot of fans have been throwing out their ideas on whom the best actor would be to take over as the legendary hero.

THR claims to have information on who is currently on the studio's list to possibly take on the part. On the top of that list, is 46-year-old Josh Brolin, who would be amazing as an old Batman! I suggested Jon Hamm, but I think I like Brolin better. If they were going to make an adaptation of Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns, I would love to see Brolin in the role. If they are going for that tone and feel, then yes! Please cast him as Batman!

The other actors on the list aren't really as impressive as Brolin to me, but you might think they are. They include Ryan Gosling, which I guess would work if they are looking to go for someone younger, but I'd rather see an older Batman. Then there's True Blood's 36-year-old Joe Manganiello, whom I don't think has that Bruce Wayne quality to him. Rounding out the list are 41-year-old Richard Armitage (Thorin in The Hobbit), 43-year-old Max Martini (Castle, Revenge), and 35-year-old Matthew Goode (Watchmen, Stoker).

There's no confirmation if any of these names are actually on a list. The script is still in the early stages of development, and as far as we know, no actors have been approached about the role.

They'll eventually cast the role, but while we wait for more information, who on this list would you like to see play Batman?
