Great Trailer for Spike Jonze and Joaquin Phoenix's HER
It's been four years since Spike Jonze directed his last feature film, Where the Wild Things Are, and we have the first trailer for his fantastic-looking next film Her, which stars Joaquin Phoenix, Scarlett Johansson, Amy Adams, Rooney Mara, Chris Pratt, and Olivia Wilde.
I love Jonze's storytelling style, and this is basically his idea of a romantic film. It's so intriguingly different from anything that's been done before. The story is about a man who falls in love with a piece of software that is comparable to Apple's Siri. Here's the synopsis:
In the not so distant future, Theodore (Phoenix), a lonely writer purchases a newly developed operating system designed to meet the user’s every needs. To Theodore’s surprise, a romantic relationship develops between him and his operating system. This unconventional love story blends science fiction and romance in a sweet tale that explores the nature of love and the ways that technology isolates and connects us all.
The movie is set to be released on November 20th!
