For awhile we've been hearing about a Breaking Bad spin-off series that would center on the great character Saul Goodman, who is played by Bob Odenkirk. A couple of months ago Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan said he was developing the series with writer Peter Gould, the writer who came up with the character in the second season of the hit series.
AMC has now decided that they are going to move forward with the series, and now there are some confirmed details. It is being developed under the title Better Call Saul. It will be an hour long prequel that will focus on the evolution of the popular Saul Goodman before he ever became Walter White’s lawyer.
Goodman is such a great character in the series, and it will be fun to see the evolution of that character. I'm excited to see that this spin-off is happening. Breaking Bad may be coming to an end, but this gives fans something else to look forward to.
