Tron: Uprising Director to Helm NINJAGO LEGO Movie
A couple of months ago Warner Bros. announced that they would be developing a Ninjago movie based on the LEGO property. That movie now has a director, and that director is Charlie Bean, who worked on the awesome Disney XD animated series, Tron: Uprising.
The movie is currently being written by Dan Hageman and Kevin Hageman, who helped develop the story for The Lego Movie, which is currently in development.
There's also an animated series for Ninjago, which is "inspired by Chinese and Japanese myths and culture and features dragons and mystical snakes like the Great Devourer. The main character is Kai, the red ninja of fire."
Of course the film will feature a new take that diverges from the TV series. This could be a really cool film if done right. The upcoming LEGO movie looks pretty awesome.
