Amanda Seyfried is set to play the female lead in Seth MacFarlane's sequel to his hit comedy Ted. She will join Mark Wahlberg who is coming back to reprise his role as John Bennett, whose best friend is a foul-mouthed teddy bear that he gets into trouble with.
The news comes from Deadline, which says that Mila Kunis might appear in the movie, and if she does it will only be a small role. They explain that the decision not to include Kunis "has nothing to do with anything other than a creative decision that MacFarlane decided to take with the plotting of the sequel."
MacFarlane is almost finished with the post-production process on his next, hilarious-looking film, A Million Ways To Die In The West. That movie also stars Seyfried, so apparently the two had a good time working together.
Seyfried has always been a talented young actress, and she'll be great in Ted 2.
