BETTER CALL SAUL Gets a New Spot and Premiere Date

AMC has released a new teaser spot for the Breaking Bad spinoff series Better Call Saul, and they set the official two night series premiere for February 8th and 9th. This will be the first time that the network will have a two-night season premiere.

Bob Odenkirk reprises his role as the colorful attorney Saul Goodman. It also stars Jonathan Banks, Michael McKean, Rhea Seehorn, Patrick Fabian, and Michael Mando. Here’s the synopsis:

The series is set six years before Saul Goodman meets Walter White. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside, and, often, against Jimmy, is “fixer” Mike Ehrmantraut, a beloved character introduced in ‘Breaking Bad.’ The series will track Jimmy’s transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts “criminal” in “Criminal lawyer.” The series’ tone is dramatic, woven with dark humor.

I’m confident that creators Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould are going to give fans a show they are going to enjoy.

Two-night series premiere of Better Call Saul starts Sunday, Feb 8 at 10/9c with second episode to air Monday, Feb 9 at 10/9c.
