Check Out This 1950s Timelapse Video of Disneyland's Construction

This year marks the 60-year anniversary of Disneyland, which was built in 1954 and 1955 in Anaheim, California. To celebrate the occasion, Disney has released a cool timelapse video of the construction of Main Street, USA. Having been to Disneyland a number of times myself, it's totally surreal to watch this video; the place has a timeless quality to it, and it's strange to see the actual construction of the buildings I've walked into on Main Street. It's cool that the people at Disney had the foresight to think that a video like this might be worth watching one day, since this was one of the first full-scale amusement parks in the world and the only one created under Walt Disney's personal supervision.
