Check Out This $25,000 Lightsaber Pen

Do you love Star Wars enough to drop $25,000 on a lightsaber fountain pen? It comes with a levitating display stand, so maybe it’s worth it, right? No. I don’t understand these kinds of items. Even if I was freakin’ rich beyond my wildest dreams, I could never even consider buying a $25,000 pen. I would spend that kind of cash on a real lightsaber, though! 

The pen comes from S.T. Dupont Paris, and they are only making eight of them. They will feature either a Yoda or Darth Vader lightsaber theme.

To celebrate the new film Star Wars episode VII 'the Force Awakens' S.T. Dupont have released a range of Limited Edition Star Wars products, so be part of the Jedi alliance and fight against dark side with the S.T. Dupont Limited Edition Star Wars levitating light saber writing instrument; a pen fit for a Jedi master. Strictly limited to only 8! The pen which is part of the Haute Creation Collection which features levitation fountain pens disguised as light sabers. There are two of these pens, which both feature a 2 carat topaz crystal one for the powerful Sith Lord Darth Vader which is red and symbolise the dark side of the force. This edition features Jedi Master Yoda presenting green topaz and symbolises the light side of the force. The pen is formed from Bronze with black lacquer with palladium and rhodium finishes, which replicated the original design of light saber first seen in the original film Star Wars episode IV 'A New Hope'. The pen is presented on a levitating platform which is intelligently done using magnets.

The pens are made of bronze, and they have “black lacquer with palladium and rhodium finishes.” The pen is also capped off with a topaz crystal that’s available in either red or green to represent the lightsaber blade.
