COD: GHOSTS Copies Scene From Previous Game
While I may not be the biggest fan of the latest entries in the Call of Duty franchise, I have still spent my fair share of time with them and enjoyed it. Say what you will about the companies that produce them, but they are still pretty good arcade shooters. Unfortunately, a video posted on Youtube by user satantribal demonstrates a sign of the production quality in the latest game. The clip on the right is the newly released COD: Ghosts and the left is MW2, which was released in 2009.
I don’t want to call the obvious scene copying lazy, but I can’t really figure out why else they would do it. Were they trying to reference the previous game? But why would they even do that, especially since very few people would even notice? While this doesn't condemn COD: Ghosts in any way, it saddens me because it shows how much Infinity Ward is phoning it in at this point.
