Cool Sci-Fi Action Short THE SIGNAL
We've got a really cool sci-fi action short for you to watch today. It's called The Signal, and it was written and directed by Marcus Stokes. The film stars Michael Ealy from the upcoming J.J. Abrams series, Almost Human. This is a really solid short film that I think a lot of you will enjoy. Here's the short synopsis:
2046. A new energy source, created to solve the world's energy crisis, is believed to have deadly side effects. When The Signal's inventor chooses to help a girl warn the public, he gains an unlikely ally to help rid the world of his own creation.
The short was shot in downtown Los Angeles over a weekend. It obviously took much longer to do the special effects in post production. This is definitely a something I'd be interested in seeing more of, so hopefully Stokes gets the chance to to keep the story going.
