DEADPOOL IMAX Trailer; Stan Lee Makes Cameo in IMAX Poster
20th Century Fox continues to build on the already exciting Deadpool hype by releasing the IMAX trailer that screened with Star Wars: The Force Awakens as well as an IMAX poster.
The trailer doesn't offer much new footage from the film, but it does deliver the laughs in regards to Deadpool's comparison of IMAX to a giant chimichanga. As for the poster, it basically features the entire cast engulfed in flames, with Deadpool riding on top of Colossus' shoulders. He's also battling Ajax at the bottom. There's also a Stan Lee cameo in the bottom right corner!
Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, Deadpool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
The new, full trailer is set to be released on December 25th during the day's NBA games, so stay tuned! Deadpool will rock theaters on February 12th.
