DEADPOOL's Brianna Hildebrand To Star in Netflix's Adaptation of TRINKETS

Trinkets is a YA novel from author Kirsten “Kiwi” Smith and Netflix wants to adapt it into a series. Also, we have some casting information for the series to share with you! The three female leads will be played by Deadpool co-star Brianna Hildebrand, Kianna Madeira (Bad Hair Day), and newcomer Quintessa Swindell.

Smith will be writing the adaptation along with Amy Andelson and Emily Meyer and here’s a synopsis:

Trinkets centers on three teenage girls from different corners of the high school cafeteria — Elodie (Hildebrand), the grieving misfit; Moe (Madeira), the mysterious outsider; and Tabitha (Swindell) the imperfect picture of perfection — who find themselves in the same mandated Shoplifters Anonymous meeting, and an unlikely friendship forms. They will find strength in one another as they negotiate family issues, high school drama and the complicated dilemma of trying to fit in while longing to break out.

Butler will be portraying Brady, Georgiadis will play Noah, Moore will be Vicky, Oleynik will portray Shawn, Sullivan will be Doug, and Zaga will be playing Luca. Andelson, Meyer, and Smith will executive produce alongside Linda Gase who will also serve as showrunner, Rebecca Glashow, Brin Lukens, and Shelley Zimmerman.

The first two episodes will be directed by Sara St. Onge and the series will also star Brandon Butler, Odiseas Georgiadis, October Moore, Larisa Oleynik, Larry Sullivan, and Henry Zaga.
