Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson Is Now the Highest Paid Actor in the World
If you smell what The Rock is cooking, it's probably because he now has enough money to buy some massive grill that stretches across half a state. That joke may have gotten away from me, but it does not change the fact that Dwayne Johnson is now the highest paid actor in the world according to Forbes. The most electrifying man in entertainment managed to rake in $64.5 million dollars alone in 2015!
Perhaps what's more surprising is that Johnson made most of that money off San Andreas, which was pretty godawful in my opinion.
On the flip side, he starred in HBO's Ballers, which was one of my favorite shows last year so there's a trade off!
All in all, I'm happy for The Rock. He got a lot of guff when he first entered the acting world, and he's really done a lot to earn a legitimate spot within the film world. Now let's see if he can one day do something Oscar worthy!
