A week ago, Ryan Reynolds said that the long-awaited Deadpool movie was tiptoeing forward. Today, the film's director, Tim Miller, says that the creative is ready, and they're just waiting for the greenlight! While talking to Clevver Movies he said,
"We will never give up! Deadpool is still alive and we're just waiting for the studio to embrace what an amazingly f***ing awesome film this would be. Ryan is ready, I am ready, the fans are more than ready, we just need that elusive green light."
This all sounds very promising doesn't?! It would be amazing if this movie actually happened and were made the way it should be! Miller also confirmed that a new draft of the script has been sent in by Zombieland writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. Reynolds previously explained how they are trying to push it through,
"[In] its current iteration the movie’s actually very small. There's minimal impact to the studio, which is the way we're kind of presenting it to them. We're saying 'Look, the budget is minimal. Therefore, can we do this the way it should be done?’ Which unfortunately needs a Rated R or it needs those elements."
It's actually sounding like one day soon we will get the news that the movie is going to happen.
