First Promo Teaser For AMERICAN HORROR STORY: HOTEL - “Front Desk”
FX has released the first promo for American Horror Story: Hotel. It’s called “Front Desk,” and it teases the character being played by Lady Gaga. In true American Horror Story fashion, the promo is only 10 seconds long, and it features a ghoulish long-nailed hand.
Ryan Murphy revealed at Comic-Con that Lady Gaga’s character would be a villain in the story. Murphy recalled, “She said, ‘I want to be evil.’ I said, ‘You came to the right place.’” He went on to say:
“When you work with someone like her, you sign up for something that is larger than life, and I think that’s what you want. Part of her role involves fashion. You want Lady Gaga to look a certain way. The designers have been coming out of the woodwork with looks for her.”
Murphy went on to say that we’ll be seeing some familiar faces, and the connections to previous seasons:
“Things are connected. This season, you’ll see more and more and more of that. Characters from previous seasons will come check into the hotel.”
That should be really interesting! The series also stars Matt Bomer, Wes Bentley, Cheyenne Jackson, Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Chloe Sevigny, Evan Peters, Max Greenfield, and Angela Bassett.
American Horror Story: Hotel premieres this October with 13 episodes.
