First Teaser Trailer For FIFTY SHADES DARKER

Even though the film doesn't have a director attached yet, Universal has already committed to a February 10th, 2017 release date for the Fifty Shades of Grey sequel Fifty Shades Darker. It's the second movie in a trilogy, and it continues the bondage and sex-filled adventures of Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) and billionaire Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan). I didn't see the first movie, but it was an undeniable smash success for the studio: BoxOfficeMojo says it made almost $570 million worldwide on a $40 million budget.

Even with some behind-the-scenes drama — feuds between author E.J. James and director Sam Taylor-Johnson, a controversial decision to have James' husband write the screenplay for the second film, etc. — the show must go on, so Universal has released the first teaser trailer for the movie. There's some question as to who actually shot this footage, but it honestly doesn't matter: Dornan could have set up a tripod and filmed himself doing this, and it would still get the same reaction out of fans.
