This is a fun short documentary called "Video Stores Explained To Modern Kids," and it shows you what it was like growing up with actual video stores as our main source for watching movies. It really makes me miss video stores. I was one of those kids that spent hours in the video store trying to pick out movies. I have lots of video store memories. It's weird but true! I remember my friends and I watching every horror film from our local Blockbuster, and we watched some really crazy and shitty stuff. There was also one time I rode my bike to the video store after my mom told me not to. Of course I went anyway and on my way there I was hit by a car. I'm not sure if I ever told her that. Another time I rode my bike to the video store and a bird took a dump on my head. And I hated when I forgot to rewind the tape when I returned it because I was fined 50 cents. So many great memories thanks to the video stores that no longer exist. I miss those days, and it's a shame that the kids of today will never experience that awesomeness. What are some of your favorite video store memories?
