GeekTyrant's CinemaCon 2017 Coverage Launch Video

This next week, GeekTyrant will be at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, which is the official convention of The National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO). The event takes place at Caesars Palace, and I got in yesterday to take a look around before it officially launches today.

I shot a little video above thanks to the help of my friend and colleague Drewbles, who will be helping me cover the event this year. We’re going to do something a little different than we normally do here on GT because we’re going to be posting more video content.

We’ll be doing reaction videos after each of the studio presentations that, we’ll be delivering some breaking news via video, interviews, and more. In the video below I basically give you a brief tour of a small section of the event that includes a lot of movie posters, most of which we’ve already seen and posted on the site.

Last year was the first time that I attended CinemaCon, and I had a blast. This is definitely one event that I’ll continue to cover as long as I can!

CinemaCon is officially described as follows:

Since taking its first step in 2011, CinemaCon has evolved and grown to become the largest and most important gathering for the worldwide motion picture theater industry. CinemaCon is truly a global event attracting attendees from more than 80 countries.
On behalf of CinemaCon, the Official Convention of The National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO), we extend our sincerest appreciation and gratitude to the entire motion picture theater industry for helping to make the past five years so successful. The excitement continues when CinemaCon returns to Caesars Palace in Las Vegas from 27 – 30 March 2017 for what is sure to be our biggest convention to date.
