George Takei Explains The Origin of En Sabah Nur in X-MEN: APOCALYPSE Viral Video

We’ve got a fun viral marketing video for you to watch for Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Apocalypse. It’s promo spot for a fake TV special called “In the Footsteps of… En Sabah Nur,” which is a tribute to Leonard Nimoy's “In Search of…” series. They even take it to the next level by hiring Nimoy's Star Trek co-star George Takei to narrate it!

The video is done in an old-school, gritty, retro style, and it explores the question, “What if the world’s first mutant actually appeared thousands of years ago?” The video focuses on En Sabah Nur, the world's first mutant who is responsible for the annihilation of millions. I would love it if they actually released an entire episode of this because I’d watch the shit out of it!

I also included a new international poster for the film featuring the whole team, which you can check out above. X-Men: Apocalypse comes out on May 27th.
