GHOSTBUSTERS Outtakes Reveal Alternate Movie Titles
A video featuring some outtakes from the commercial used in the Ghostbusters movie has found its way online, and it reveals some alternate titles for the film. It seems like early on in production they didn't have an official title yet. They shot various versions of the commercial using different names as potential titles. Those alternate titles included Ghostblasters and Ghoststoppers. I wasn't aware of these other titles until I saw this video. Ghostbusters was definitely the right title to go with. It's hard to imagine the movie being called anything else.
Ghostbusters turns 30-years old this year, and it's still one of my favorite movies ever. I also included the final version of the commercial that they ended up using in the film.
