Guillermo del Toro Says WB Is Making Plans for Entire DC Universe

Director Guillermo del Toro is still in the process of developing his DC film, Justice League Dark. In a recent interview with Cinefilos, the director gives a brief update on the project, and then says that Warner Bros. is currently making plans for the entire DC universe! Here's the quote,

"We're still on [Justice League Dark], writing, and hopefully it will happen but there are no developments that are new. We're still at Warner Bros., they are making plans for the entire DC universe. All the superheroes, all the mythologies, and part of that is Justice League Dark. They're planning on TV, movies, and all the media, so we have to fit into that plan."

It's looking like the upcoming Batman Vs. Superman film will be the first to start adding new characters into the cinematic universe that Zack Snyder created for Man of Steel. There are rumors that we'll see Nightwing and Wonder Woman in the film as well. You never know though, there might be more. A Justice League movie might just be the tip of the iceberg of what they are planning.

I'm excited to find out what exactly they are going to deliver to the fans. I assume that the films they are creating now will all connect with each other, much like what Marvel is doing now. Do you think Warner Bros. can effectively pull it off?
