HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON 2 – New Clip and Images

How to Train Your Dragon 2 must be coming out soon, because in the last few weeks we’ve seen a clip, a new trailer, and a poster, and now we have another clip to share with you. It shows the Vikings of Berk playing some sort of new dragon and sheep based game. It looks pretty exciting, but does anyone else feel sorry for the sheep? And also think that probably being shot into the the air, caught by a dragon, and then tossed around by several dragons and their riders would probably, you know, kill the sheep? Yes, it is a cartoon about flying dragons, and they are Vikings, and I just watched Ragnar Lothbrok blood eagle a dude last week, so I have no idea why this is bothering me. It’s an entertaining clip, regardless of where the ASPCA comes down on it.

Hiccup and Toothless aren’t in this clip, because they are off charting the world and meeting the Jane Goodall of dragons, who has a pretty deep connection to Hiccup. They are, however, in the new images I’ve included below. I would very much like to fly around on a dragon and then glide through the air in my own wingsuit.

How to Train Your Dragon 2 flies into theaters on June 13, and I’m pretty excited about it.

It's been five years since Hiccup and Toothless successfully united dragons and vikings on the island of Berk. While Astrid, Snotlout and the rest of the gang are challenging each other to dragon races (the island's new favorite contact sport), the now inseparable pair journey through the skies, charting unmapped territories and exploring new worlds. When one of their adventures leads to the discovery of a secret ice cave that is home to hundreds of new wild dragons and the mysterious Dragon Rider, the two friends find themselves at the center of a battle to protect the peace. Now, Hiccup and Toothless must unite to stand up for what they believe while recognizing that only together do they have the power to change the future of both men and dragons.
