Insanely Ballistic Footage of JOHN WICK 2 Screened at CinemaCon

Keanu Reeves showed up at CinemaCon this week at the Lionsgate presentation to premiere the first footage ever from his upcoming film John Wick 2. Having loved the hell out of the first movie, I was already crazy excited for the sequel, but now having seen some footage from the movie, I can tell you the filmmakers have taken the franchise to new level of action and insanity. I was completely blown away by the footage that was screened and fans of the first film are going to love it.

The story finds the badass assassin going to Rome where he finds himself in trouble… again. This time, he’s taking on some hardcore villains played by Common and Ruby Rose. We also see that Lance Reddick, John Leguizamo, and Ian McShane are back in the film.

As many of you already know, Laurence Fishburne also has a role in the movie, and it looks a lot bigger than I expected. We saw a few scenes of him, and it looks like he could have a main role. He is an ally of John who helps him get locked and loaded to take out the bad guys.

Then there’s the footage that was so fast-paced and so action-packed it has to be seen to believe. It’s got lots of explosions and awesomely ballistic gun battles! There’s a line in the footage in which McShane says, “Somebody get this guy a gun!” Then John says, “Whoever comes, I’ll kill them. I’ll kill them all.” And kill he does. We just get scene after scene of John Wick blowing people away in the most insane ways. There’s no bullshit here, John Wick is back and badder than ever, he doesn't hesitate to kill. In the process, he uses a lot of different kinds of fight styles to take out the villains. No joke, I think in the footage we see John shoot about 15 people in the face at close range. The footage was seriously just completely full of the character killing people.

John Wick 2 looks like it will better than the first film. This is one of the most badass characters that has been created, and I hope that this action franchise has a long life. I’ll watch as many John Wick films as Lionsgate wants to release. I don't know if they'll ever release this footage to the public, but it'd be great if they did because you need to see it so bad!

I can't wait for this flick, but it’s not like I have a choice. It’s set to be released on February 10th, 2017.
